All my friends mad about 70's sounds can rejoice : here is one of the best French OST from the 70's.
L'aventure c'est l'aventure (1972), music by Francis Lai (the one who did the theme of "Un homme une femme", among hundred others). Movie direction by Claude Lelouch (no presentation needed..).

The movie too is excellent, the unlikely history of an aging band of gangsters who decide to reconvert into modern gangstering. Their periple leads them to hijack the pope, rock stars (Johnny Halliday) and cuban leaders (!!); behind this crazy script, a very funny painting of the 70's world politics and society. Highly recommended and widely available on dvd!

The lp is pretty rare, I got this copy for a reasonable price in the flea market of Saint Ouen (Paris) in the mid 90's. Amazing sound, deep atmosphere, a real gemm !

Ripped at 256kps.
